III PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL YOUNG FOLKLORE FESTIVAL OF BIDASOA

COOPERATING: Photographic association of Irun.

PARTICIPANTS: Ever photographic lover.

THEME: “INTERNATIONAL YOUNG FOLKLORE FESTIVAL OF BIDASOA”, a celebrating from the 23rd to the 29th of July, with the following programme: 2 Irun; 23 Bera de Bidasoa; 24 Zarauz, 25 Irun ,26 Etxalar and Zumaia; and 27 Irun.

CATEGORIES: Inside the theme they are three difference categories:

- Action or movement.
- Photograph.
- Free.

MODALITY: Photographs in papers, using whatever techniques.

FORMAT: The smallest side of the photograph must be of 15cm minimum, and the bigger side must be of 40cm maximum.

PICTURES QUANTITY: Each author can present a maximum of two pictures in each category

IDENTIFICATION: In the back side of each picture must be written the category, the title, personal details and a telephone number.

PICTURE PRESENTING DEADLINE: Until 8:00 pm of 18th of September of 2008.

DELIVERING PLACES: In Irun:

Young Information Office
(Fueros Street 2nd ground floor) / AFI: Fueros Street 2nd cellar)

JURY: In it, will take part people of recognized prestige from Irun, and their decisions won’t be changed.

EXPOSURE: With the awarded pictures and also some of the other pictures it will be organized an exposure during the festival of 2010.

AWARDS CEREMONY: Where and when will be said days before.

AWARDS: For each category this prizes are going to be given:

-FIRST PRIZE: Diploma and 200 €.
-SECOND PRIZE: Diploma and 100 €.
-THIRD PRIZE: Diploma and 50 €.

  Each participant can be awarded only once.

RIGHTS AND PICTURES RETURN:
Those awarded pictures will belong to the organization and they will be able to publish them wherever they want, non-profit, always mentioning the author. Selected pictures will be returned when the exposures finish, and the rest of the pictures, from the 16th of October.

POST COMMENTS:
Any doubt or unexpected happening will be determined by the organization. To participate in this competition it is supposed to accept all rules.
